All students are encouraged to run or walk to promote a healthy lifestyle and raise money to support Golden View Elementary.

- The student who collects the most money, overall, wins a Giant stuffed teddy bear.
- One student, from each grade level, who collects the most Turkey Trot pledges will be awarded a special prize.
- Each class that raises an average of $20 per student will receive a mini-party!
- The class that raises the MOST Money, overall, wins a Pizza Party.
- Plus, as students receive pledges their name will be entered in daily drawings for little prizes.
EXTRA GOOD STUFF
- Honor your student or promote your business by purchasing a customizable racetrack sign.
- Back by popular demand, DJ “Shout Outs” are available for purchase. Our DJ will “shout out” a special message to your child as they run during the event. Encourage your favorite runner(s) with this fun surprise! Quantities are limited! Please purchase your shout out according to your student’s grade level.'
Help support the Gator Fund and make an additional donation to our 2018/2019 Fund-A-Need.
This year, with your help, we are focusing on purchasing and having a SHADE STRUCTURE installed on campus. With a survey, it was determined that parents want a shade structure on the playground. We need to raise almost $50,000 to make this happen.
After the Turkey Trot, students will be given a record of the laps they ran and our online system will be updated to reflect their accomplishments! Invoices will be sent via email if you pledged per lap.
All pledges are 100% tax deductible (Tax ID #46-0486918) and may be eligible for employer matching.
Even with online pledging, checks and cash are accepted. Checks should be made payable to “GV Gator Fund” with “Turkey Trot” and student name(s) in the memo area. You may combine pledges for siblings into one check or you can do it ALL online with your credit card.
This is a fun, school-wide event that emphasizes exercise and healthy living!
All students are encouraged to participate in the Fun Run, even if they receive no pledges.
